Sunrise Highway runs from Massapequa to within half a mile of the door. Join it heading east, cross the county line without noticing, and come off at Wellwood Avenue. Twelve to fifteen minutes and a single road for nearly all of it.
Merrick Road works if you would rather stay off the highway, though it slows considerably through Amityville and Copiague. From the north end near the Massapequa Preserve, cutting across to Sunrise first is faster than working east on the surface streets.
