Reiki and Energy Healing in Farmingdale, NY
Farmingdale is a commuter town, and most people here are fitting this around a train timetable rather than a free afternoon. The room is under four miles south, and evening appointments are the ones that usually get booked.
Drive
Just under four miles south
Ten to twelve minutes
Office
672 North Wellwood Ave, Suite 2
Lindenhurst, NY 11757
Practitioner
Rene D'Antona, Reiki Master and IET practitioner
What is on the list
Twelve treatments, all of them run by one practitioner. Cut it down by the reason you started looking.
Start with this
Reiki energy healing
Nothing is asked of you, which makes it the easiest first appointment to commit to.
Rare enough to travel for
Integrated Energy Therapy
Not something you will find between here and the office, which is why people book it deliberately.
Give it something to work on
Chakra balancing
A second appointment rather than an opener. It needs a target to be useful.
For the commuters
Nervous system reboot
Aimed squarely at people running on early trains and wondering why weekends do not repair it.
Follow the sound
Sound bath healing
Tone instead of touch, which helps if a silent room makes you restless.
Nothing to explain
Energy-infused facials
A facial with energy work built into it. Nobody has to talk about the second part.
Not an after work booking
Past life regression
The long appointment. Better on a weekend than squeezed in at six o'clock.
What follows
Manifestation coaching
Runs in sequence after the clearing work rather than instead of it.
An hour to think
Tarot card readings
Questions rather than answers, and nothing predicted about any of it.
Two in one stop
Combination treatments
Practical when you are already making the trip after work.
Capped naturally
Classes and workshops
Group size follows the room, which is one room.
Change sides
IET practitioner training
Certification for anyone who would rather run these than book them.

South down 109, then east to Wellwood
Route 109 is the direct line. Head southeast out of the village and stay on it until Wellwood Avenue, then turn south. Ten to twelve minutes, and the office is on the left before you reach Sunrise Highway.
From the Route 110 corridor near Farmingdale State College it is usually faster to run south on 110 to Sunrise and come east, rather than working across on the local roads. Either way the last stretch is Wellwood.
The room is Suite 2 within The Balance Health and Wellness Center, the practice of Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM. Free off street parking outside the door, which is worth knowing if you are coming straight from a commute.
Onto Route 109
Southeast out of the village. This carries most of the distance.
At Wellwood Avenue
Turn south. The office arrives before Sunrise Highway does.
From the college end
South on Route 110 to Sunrise, then east. Quicker than the surface roads.
Straight from the train
Farmingdale is on the Ronkonkoma branch, so driving from the station is the practical option.
Parking
Off street, free, immediately outside. No hunting for a space after work.
What an appointment actually looks like
Set out in sequence so there is nothing to work out on the day.
01
Getting hold of Rene
She picks up herself, or returns the call that day. She asks what has been happening and names the thing she would try first. No forms in advance.
02
Coming south
Ten to twelve minutes down 109 or via Sunrise. Park at the door and use the waiting area rather than the car.
03
Talk first, always
Ten minutes before treatment begins so the hour fits you rather than the slot. Your clothes stay on for all of it.
04
Heading off
Nothing is booked hard behind you. Rene says what she noticed and whether another appointment is worth your evening.
Built for people arriving straight off a train
A lot of Farmingdale clients book at six or later, having come off the Ronkonkoma branch and driven down rather than gone home first. That works here because appointments are single slots with one practitioner instead of a grid of rooms closing at five, and because parking outside the door removes the part of an evening appointment that usually goes wrong.
Nothing is scripted and nobody is asked to believe anything up front. There is more about Rene D'Antona, a set of frequently asked questions, and a run of articles on energy healing worth reading first.
Nineteen years in practice
Long enough to be training and certifying others, which happens through the energy healing programs.
A real building
Shared with a doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, with reception staffed through opening hours.
Always the same person
Whoever answers the phone runs the session, across meditation programs, spiritual guidance and wellness treatments.
Other towns on the list
Farmingdale is the northern edge of eleven towns. The rest sit on all service areas, and every treatment is described on the full service list.
What Farmingdale clients ask first
Evenings are standard here and a good share of Farmingdale appointments run after six. Say what time suits when you call, because the schedule is built around individual bookings rather than fixed opening blocks.
Most people drive down rather than riding on, since Farmingdale is on the Ronkonkoma branch and the office is not near it. Ten to twelve minutes by car and parking is free outside the door.
Route 109 from the village itself. From the northern end near Farmingdale State College, running south on 110 to Sunrise Highway and coming east tends to beat cutting across on local roads.
Past life regression runs long and lands better on a weekend. Most of the rest of the list sits comfortably in an evening slot.
Book from Farmingdale
One call and Rene will tell you where she would start, or that you do not need to book at all. Evening and weekend slots are open.
