Babylon Village, New York

Reiki and Energy Healing in Babylon, NY

Village residents drive about three miles west to a treatment room on North Wellwood Avenue. Rene D'Antona has worked there since before most of Long Island offered any of this, and she still sees one person at a time.

What you can book

Twelve things, all of them done by the same person in the same room. Filter by what actually brought you here rather than reading the whole list.

Where most start

Reiki energy healing

The first booking for almost everyone who drives over from the village.

Hard to find nearby

Integrated Energy Therapy

The reason a lot of Babylon clients stopped searching locally and started driving west.

Usually a second visit

Chakra balancing

Steady work on whatever the first session turned up, rather than a general reset.

For the commuters

Nervous system reboot

Aimed at people running on the early train who cannot work out why sleep is not fixing it.

No touch involved

Sound bath healing

Bowls and tone instead of hands, for anyone who finds lying still with their thoughts hard.

The familiar door

Energy-infused facials

Book it as a facial. The energy work comes with it and nobody has to explain anything.

Long form

Past life regression

Booked well ahead and never squeezed into a lunch hour. People travel a lot further than three miles for it.

After the clearing

Manifestation coaching

Runs across several sessions. It follows the deeper work rather than replacing it.

Questions, not predictions

Tarot card readings

A reflective hour with nothing theatrical about it. Read as things to sit with.

One trip, two treatments

Combination treatments

Suits anyone driving in rather than walking, which is most of the village.

Small by design

Classes and workshops

Numbers stay low because there is one room, not because of a marketing decision.

Nothing sits under that filter alone. Try another, or open the full service list.

Getting here from Babylon

Straight west on Montauk Highway

Montauk Highway runs the entire way. Most people head west out of the village past Argyle Lake Park, stay on 27A until Wellwood Avenue, then turn north. It is the same road you would take out to the Great South Bay Shopping Center, carried on a little further.

At rush hour Sunrise Highway beats it. Come west, exit at Wellwood, head north past the plaza with King Kullen at 600 and Dollar General at 660. The office sits at 672, in that same run of storefronts.

Suite 2 is inside The Balance Health and Wellness Center, run by Joseph A. D'Antona, DAOM. Off street parking, no meter, so a session that overruns costs you nothing.

  • Leaving Main Street

West on Montauk Highway, past Argyle Lake and out of the village.

  • Turning at Wellwood

North. From here you are roughly six minutes from the door.

  • Crossing Sunrise

Keep north. The storefronts start almost immediately on your right.

  • What to look for

The Sunrise Plaza sign. King Kullen sits at 600 and the office is at 672.

  • Arriving by train

Babylon is the branch terminus, so there are always cabs on the rank.

Before you call

How a first session goes

Nobody wants to ask what happens, so here it is written down. Four things, none of them a surprise.

  1. 01

    Rene picks up

She answers herself or rings back the same day, asks what is going on, and says what she would start with. No forms to fill in beforehand.

  2. 02

    You drive west

Ten minutes out of the village on Montauk or Sunrise. Park outside Suite 2 and wait in the shared reception rather than sitting in the car.

  3. 03

    You talk before anything

Ten minutes at the edge of the table so the hour gets shaped around what you brought in. You stay in your own clothes throughout.

  4. 04

You go when you are ready

No one moves you toward the door. Rene says what she found and whether another visit is worth your money.

Why the drive

Babylon clients come for what the village does not have

There is no shortage of places in Babylon Village to be looked after. What there is not is a single practitioner covering Integrated Energy Therapy, past life regression and certification training in one room. That gap is why people leave the village for this rather than walking somewhere on Main Street.

Nothing here runs off a script. Rene says what she is doing in plain words while she does it, and you are not asked to believe in any of it first. Read more about Rene D'Antona, look through the frequently asked questions, or work through the articles on energy healing.

Nineteen years of it

Rene was practicing before most Long Island wellness centers offered a single modality on this list, and now certifies other practitioners through the energy healing programs.

Not a spare bedroom

The room sits inside a working wellness center beside a doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Front desk, waiting area, the lot.

Never a rota

Whoever answers the phone is who treats you. That holds for meditation programs, spiritual guidance and wellness treatments alike.

Beyond the village

Where else people drive in from

Babylon is one of eleven towns on the list. The rest are mapped on all service areas, and every treatment sits on the full service list.

Questions

What Babylon clients ask first

Ten minutes in ordinary traffic, a little more at five o'clock. Montauk Highway does most of the work and then it is a right turn north onto Wellwood Avenue. Three miles all in.

That depends what you want. For a straightforward hour of relaxation, probably not. For Integrated Energy Therapy or past life regression, there is nothing comparable inside the village, which is why most people making this drive are after something specific rather than something convenient.

Yes, and it is common among people driving rather than walking. Combination treatments are built for it. Say so when you call and Rene will tell you which pairings actually work together.

Directly outside Suite 2, off street and free. Nothing to feed and no time limit, which matters because sessions do sometimes run over.

Book from Babylon

One phone call and Rene will tell you what she would start with, or that you do not need her. Evenings and weekends are available.
